Grants & Scholarships

Rotary Club of Hamilton’s Grant Guidelines

The Hamilton Rotary Club provides grants to local associations that support the betterment of our community with an emphasis on youth organizations. These grants require an application that meets the requirements established by our organization, with an application process for each grant cycle.

The maximum grant amount is $5,000.00. However, no request is too small. Each application will require a description of the organization and its project along with a statement of goals and objectives of the project, the total amount needed, and the amount requested from the Hamilton Rotary Club. Grants should be requested for projects with measurable outcomes and will not generally be provided for capital campaigns, sponsorships or annual events. Please include a list of the itemized costs for the project. Sometimes the board awards a portion of the amount requested if they are unable to fund the entire grant.

Hamilton Rotary Club Community Grants are limited to projects within the Hamilton Rotary Club’s service area. The club’s philanthropic committee reviews all applications.

Grant applications must be received no later than May 31. Recipients will be notified by the Philanthropic Committee in June. Recipients of the Hamilton Rotary Community Grant should be charitable 501(c)(3) or nonprofit organizations.

Please make sure to read all guidelines before submitting your application.
